Business Development ManageAre you a talented Business Development Manager, or are you aiming to be oneCan you demonstrate that you have experience of telephone sales Or if you havent got the experience, are you a recent graduate looking to start a career in this fieldIf so then you could be perfect for our client.Please note: This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week.The Role: In the Business Development Manager role youll report to the General Manager and will be primarily responsible for making outbound contact and having conversations with SME business owners in Lancashire to create qualified leads that canbe followed up by a business coach and growth specialist. In addition, you will be creating and maximising visibility for our clients marketing and social media content.Specific tasks include:- Having conversations with business owners- Creating new leads and appointments- Increasing our profile via marketing and social media content and visibilityYoull spend part of the working week based in the companys Burnley, Lancashire office, and the rest of it working from home. Details around how this will work will be revealed on application.The Candidate:To be the right person for Business Development Manager role you will need direct experience of telephone sales.Our client would also like you to have prior experience of:- Face to face sales- Social media management- Producing engaging marketing material and assets- Achieving sales targets- Generating new business leadsIts important that you also have the following:- Drive, enthusiasm and energy- Professional persistence- Resilience and belief- An open mind and a desire to learn and be trained in the role- A results oriented attitude- A desire to take ownership, be accountable and take responsibility- Strong communication skills- A passion to help peopleYoull also be doing the following:- Speaking with multiple business owners every day- Setting appointments for our business growth specialistEven if youre a recent graduate with a degree in a relevant or related discipline but are short of experience, our client would still encourage you to apply.The Package:The basic salary for the Business Development Manager role is up to £25,000 per annum (pro rata) which is £16,000 per annum part-time.In addition, you can earn a personal performance bonus of £10,000 per annum should you hit your personal targets and this scheme is open ended which means more performance more reward.Youll also receive other benefits which include the following:
