Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team for a consultation period involving 1000 cases at our site in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrativetasks related to consultation meetings, maintaining trackers, and providing general HR support. This is an onsite position at our Burnley Heasandford Industrial estate location, where you will handle confidential information with discretion. The role requiresproficiency in Excel, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The initial contract duration is 4-8 weeks with a possibility of extension. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks for the consultation process, including scheduling and organizing consultation meetings for round 1, 2, and 3.
  • Update and maintain trackers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on each case.
  • Utilize strong Excel skills to analyze and present data related to the consultation process.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of redundancy and consultation periods, as well as a deep understanding of the lived experiences related to these processes.
  • Print and store documents using onsite printers while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Provide general HR administrative support, including handling sensitive information and maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborate with a team of administrative professionals to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times while handling sensitive and confidential information.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative support role, ideally involving consultation processes or HR administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with redundancy and consultation periods, along with a deep understanding of the challenges and experiences involved.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work between 8 AM and 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with a possibility of evening and weekend shifts.
  • Availability to start on Monday, 24th or Tuesday, 25th.
Salary and Benefits:
  • The pay rate for this position is £10.42 per hour.
  • Initial contract duration is 4-8 weeks with the possibility of extension.
