Our client is looking for a dedicated and innovative IV Therapy Medical Device Engineer to optimize their efficient laboratory equipment hiring service by supporting customer-oriented service delivery objectives.This role will be a full-time position based out of MESM, Chorley, site. If you have the passion in helping to solve the worlds most complexchallenges - lets talk!The teamThe MESM Engineering is part of a team of 7 specialists that are trusted in providing mission- critical products and services to customers in the biopharma, healthcare, education & government as well as advanced technologies & applied materials industries.What were looking for* Education: A minimum HNC or equivalent professional qualification in Engineering is preferred* Experience: Experience of IV Therapy & associated devices, or keen working with capital medical equipment working in the healthcare sector is required* Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience is required* Project management experience is highly preferred* Experience, certification & a passion for Infusion systems (ambulatory, syringe & volumetric infusion pumps)* Knowledge of a wide range of sciences including, but not limited to, electronics (analog and digital), computer science/networking, mechanical engineering design* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience working with other computer applications (such as databases) with an aptitude to further develop technical skills preferredHow you will thrive and create an impact:You will be part of our diverse and passionate global workforce that is an honoured provider of mission-critical products and services to customers in the biopharma, healthcare, education & government. You will be part of the solution to the worlds most complexchallenges and join a comprehensive community that elevates your career development.Daily responsibilities:* Carry out day-to-day: Performance Assurance / Quality Control (PA / QC) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety testing (IEC60601-1 / IEC 62353 / AAMI/IEC/EN), operational verification procedures (OVP), Repair & / or calibrate complex and intricatebiomedical (medical devices), laboratory & pharmaceutical products* Responsible for ensuring all service documentation is completed, timely & accurately by maintaining the accuracy & integrity of the company ERP system to include the following: inventory, service history, documented results & relevant transactions* Research technical documents, reviews product specification, and utilizes resources such as technical monographs, company R&D experts, in-house databases, and personal technical background to communicate information to internal & external IHE customers* Respond to customers complex technical inquiries (via telephone, email, and live chat) about the companys product lines and triage with internal/external customers.* Assist with the training and development of the apprentices we have onsite, to further their skills and understanding of IV infusion, and the medical equipment we have on siteFurther Information:* Competitive salary* Sign on bonus* Annual Bonus* Private Healthcare and Dental* Pension contributions* 25 days paid holiday + birthday off* Bank HolidaysAltitude-Recruitment acting as an Employment Agency and Employment Business.
