Job Description

Summary Are you an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills, with a love for delivering first class support We have just the role for you as a Business Services Co-ordinator.This role is for 18.75 hours a week, three days, on a fixed term contract until March 2025. What its like to work here When you visit Buckland, you follow over 700 years of footsteps; from the Cistercians who built the Abbey and farmed the estate, to seafarers Grenville and Drake who changed the shape of the house and the fate of the country. The Abbey is part museum, parthouse, and filled with treasures. There’s no mistaking the magnificence of the Great Barn, which has remained virtually unchanged since it was built all those centuries ago.For more information about our property please visit buckland-abbey What youll be doing The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same so you’ll have to love variety. As well as supporting day to day operations, you’ll have the chance to support a variety of projectsand offer your advice beyond your team. You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something. Involves regular weekend working throughout theyear. Part of the Duty Management team on a rota basis. Who were looking for

  • Relevant experience in a Business Support environment, along with facilities or office supervision responsibility
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to collaborate with and support your team with diverse tasks
  • Flexible and customer -focussed with strong customer service skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
  • Well organised with attention to detail
  • Confident with computers and using MS office, and happy to assist colleagues with this too
