Sales and Dealer Development Manager - MotorcyclesWork from Home / LeicesterOur client is a highly recognised motorcycle brand with real heritage in the UK and internationally. In supporting and further developing their position within the UK motorcycle sector, we are seeking a Sales and Dealer Development Manager who will be responsiblefor creating and managing channel (dealer) partner networks, driving retail sales, demand generation, sales & aftersales network coverage, customer satisfaction through dealership excellence process & working closely with dealerships.Reporting to the Country Manager and being responsible for establishing the best in market sales, team and processes, along with commercial terms to drive brand-led growth and network success. Working from home and actively engaging with established andfuture distributors and agents, this position is a pro-active and strategic role.Key responsibilities will include:- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve the reach, visibility and profitability in the UK. The role will be targeted on further growth of a successful network.- Build and integrate the brand support.- Drive the achievement of overall revenues, volumes and profitability targets defined for the UK while focussing on growth across product lines and categories (motorcycles & non-motorcycles).- Build and manage the dealership network with a focus on quality of partners and through them delivering customer experience; expand the availability and visibility of the full range of products to increase brand penetration and reach.- Responsible for enhancing the customer experience across dealerships by following the structure, process and infrastructure standards defined internally- Lead and engage with business development and aftersales teams to ensure each dealer is delivering the expected customer experience.- Coordinate with field resources for addressing the needs of the dealers.- Assist the dealers in identifying potential areas from a growth and improvement perspective. These opportunities include specific focus on various areas of the dealership including Motorcycles sales, General Merchandize, Parts & Aftersales, Apparels &Genuine Motorcycle accessories and Financial Services.- Build and develop a best in market sales team through an empowering leadership style with a focus on leading by example and individual coaching.Candidate ProfileManaging the day-to-day sales operation, it is expected the right candidate will have existing experience in the management and development of distribution markets in support of motorcycles, as well as being able to develop and manage a team of 4.Degree qualified in business, marketing or a technical field; you will have:- Demonstrable of experience in managing sales functions in the automobile/motorcycle industry and having experience in handling countrywide dealer sales & service networks.- Good understanding of the Motorcycle industry.- Understanding with dealership operations in the areas like Sales, Service, Parts & Service, Apparels & Genuine Motorcycle accessories, Financial Services and General merchandise.- Comfortable to work independently in a dynamic environment.- Established credibility by delivering results through consulting and counselling business owners.- Experience in developing new market areas through expansion of new dealers and management of existing dealers.- Brilliant track record of leading and developing teams and driving high performance whilst maximizing available resources and maintaining high morale.- Good networking and PR skills and personal stature to represent Royal Enfield in your region.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.This position offers a competitive salary range.
