Job Description

Workshop Engineer - Volvo heavy construction plantFull time Monday to Friday 38.5 hours perBrownhillsWe are offering an experienced Workshop Engineer the opportunity to join our well-established and professional team of engineers. You’ll be identifying mechanical and computerised systems problems and carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair on Volvoheavy mobile plant.Your responsibilities will include:

Service and repair Volvo construction equipment
Ensuring software updates are installed
The accurate completion of paperwork
Assisting and coaching colleagues with technical support where necessary
Ordering and returning parts

Experience

NVQ L3 in heavy plant/HGV/agricultural machinery maintenance and repair or equivalent
Repair and maintenance practical experience on heavy construction plant
Proven technical competence on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electronics
Ideally welding, fabrication and line boring experience
