Logistics Administrator£20,000Brownhills Especially organised, motivated, and methodically minded with experience in Administration and Logistics If this rings true to you- we cant wait to hear from you.Our client is a reputable, forward thinking and industry leading organisation that is looking for a Logistics Administrator to join them as an integral team member within the company. RoleAs a Logistics Administrator your role will hold great value, and you will be responsible for the all-round administrative support of the Logistics Department.You will be expected to * Provide support with general administration duties including all forms of paperwork, filling, scanning.* Answer and be responsible for calls into the department, both external and internal.* Effectively communicate with clients with regards to delivery and collection issues/queries.* Ensure all clients are contacted to confirm all goods have been received as arranged.* Support drivers with any issues and raise/escalate with appropriate person where needed.* Be accountable for completing returns documents, daily weighbridge and driver check reports and driver and stock paperwork in preparation for the following day.RequirementsWith at least 2 years experience in administration and 1 years experience in logistics, you will be able to work effectively as part of a team, be proactive and naturally use your own initiative.You will also need to/have * Experience and use of SAP will be beneficial but not essential.* An awareness of ADR.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Competent with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel.You will be entitled to 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays, be given the opportunity to undertake additional training, and will be fully supported in your development and career progression.Please note, Safer Hand Solutions are acting as an employment agency on behalf of a client and by applying you agree to register with us and for us to hold your details on file.
