Job Description

Sales Executive - Motor Sport - Automotive AftermarketIf you are an experienced Sales Executive with a specialist Automotive Parts / Automotive Aftermarket background and want to work for a company that prides itself on its culture, environment, work ethic and team spirit then this is a role you need to explore.As Sales Executive you will be joining a supportive office-based team and will be working for an Automotive Parts supplier that specialise in the performance parts for the motor sports sector.So, if you are quite technical and an enthusiastic petrol head this is a great opportunity to turn your passion and interest into a career.As a Sales Executive joining the team you will not only be welcomed with open arms but also given the support to succeed and over achieve.Salary Up to £31,000 plus bonus (Up to £6K), 30 days holiday (not including BH 38 days in total), pensionLocation: Leicester / Leicestershire, Broughton Astley, Lutterworth, Oadby, Wigston, Earl Shilton, Hinckley, Nuneaton, BedworthThe Role:

  • Ideally be experienced in sales and selling into the automotive and specialist technical sectors.
  • You will be able to initiate and develop close working relationship with trade customers
  • Be happy to undertake customer visits as and when required
  • Be able to speak / work with and advise customers and come up with specialist bespoke solutions.
  • Work closely and effectively with our UK Engineering Team and other overseas manufacturing facilities.
  • Placing internal orders with our Factories and other third-party suppliers, in order to maintain our UK stock profile and also satisfy specialist orders.
  • Assisting in the various administration tasks that keep the Aftermarket Sales Department running smoothly, including the booking in of goods and liaising with our Logistics Manager regarding kit build planning and resources.
  • Be a company ambassador and promote the company at specialist shows such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and other niche car shows. Time off in lieu and expenses are given for these shows.
  • Together with the rest of the department, you will be responsible for communicating new products and offers to the general trade customer base.
The Person:
  • Self-motivated individual who enjoys driving results and maintaining Customer Sales.
  • A genuine interest in anything and everything Automotive.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Enjoys working in a small, focused and fun team
