*Internal applicants only need apply*An opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to apply for a Sister / Charge Nurse Band 6 position on the Tocketts Ward at East Cleveland Primary Care Hospital. The Leadership team for this ward comprises of a Ward Manager and two Clinical Sister/Charge Nurses band 6. The two Clinical Sister/Charge Nurses will operate 11.5hour shift pattern, however on occasion some flexibility to this may be expected to cover service need.The Tocketts Ward is a 30 bedded community hospital with both Consultant and General Practitioner beds providing rehabilitation.Our main role is rehabilitation but we also have a special interest in Palliative Care with close links to Teesside Hospice and the Macmillan Service, Tocketts Ward receives admission from the James Cook University Hospital and direct patient admission via their General Practitioner.We are looking to recruit a flexible, highly motivated and innovative practitioner. The successful candidate will assist the senior sister in the management of staff and workloads on a daily basis.Applicants will need to be highly focused and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively working as part of a multidisciplinary team.You must have significant post qualification experience.
