Job Description

We run our business by these values and they are reflected in all of our roles, see below how you will embody them as one of our Cat C (Class 2) Night Drivers.As one of our Cat C Drivers working out of our Weybridge Depot, you’ll be responsible for driving one of our Cat C vehicles safely and efficiently between our Hubs, Depot network and sub-Depots.The loads you will be transported aren’t individually heavy but you will be transporting up to 40,000 items at a time, we need Drivers who understand the importance of what our Drivers do and how, without you, we can disappoint our customers.Great communication skills are necessary as one of our Drivers as we understand that delays can happen on our roads through circumstances beyond your control, road accidents, over-running repairs, the M1 and the M6 being the M1 and the M6. If you as one of our Drivers communicate those delays to us we can plan around them and make sure that you get the support you need through optimised route planning, sat navs and other tools.This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their career with us and take on more of an autonomous role where you will manage your time and work.You must be able to work well in a team and individually.Your rate of pay will be equivalent to £12.91 per hour with overtime available at a premium rate. You also be offered 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays and career progression and license support to Cat C+E (training support up to £6000) as well as paid for refresher of your DCPCWe will contribute 3% into your pension, give you peace of mind through life assurance and also provide income protection cover.
