Reed engineering are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer for a long establish company based in central Essex.This role will involve all aspects of mechanical services engineering of the projects at a senior level, from enquiry to inception stage through to completion and final account.Estimating and pricing enquiries and dealing with tender submissions working alongside our estimating manager.Developing mechanical services designs and production of technical documentation including working drawings, schematics, installation detail drawings, technical submittals, supporting design calculations to a level of detail requiredLiaising with clients, main contractors and/or design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.Maintaining company standards and procedures in all aspects of work.Essential AttributesEducated to minimum of HNC level in mechanical services or equivalent related disciplines.Minimum of five years’ work experience in a similar role and or environment.Have a good working knowledge of mechanical services, techniques and applications.A good level of general computer skills including Microsoft OfficeExperienced and proficient in the use of AutoCad software.Able to work on multiple projects at any one time, prioritising and manage your own workload and time effectively and efficiently.Be able to come up with technical solutions when encountered with problems or challenges or proposing alternatives for the purpose of value engineering and be comfortable in a client facing role and to represent the company in a professional manner.ent the company in a professional manner. Desirable Attributes: • Educated to HND or Degree Level in Mechanical Engineering Services or equivalent related discipline. • Five years’ experience (or greater) in a similar role • Experience of using AutoDeskAutoCAD software • Experience of using industry standard software packages: Mechanical design software suite such as IES or Hevacomp Trimble Estimation – contract management
