Reed Education is looking for innovative Computer Science Teachers for permanent roles in forward-thinking schools across the Lewisham, Lambeth, and Southwark boroughs. This is an exciting chance for Computer Science Teachers who are passionate about technologyand preparing students for a digital future. Day to Day of the Role:

Teaching engaging Computer Science lessons to students, following the UK curriculum.
Developing lesson plans that incorporate programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and setting objectives to enhance their understanding of computer science concepts.
Managing the classroom environment to ensure a productive and safe space for learning and exploration.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to integrate technology across various subjects and contribute to the school’s STEM initiatives.
Staying abreast of the latest developments in technology and computer science education to enrich the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Experience in teaching Computer Science within the UK curriculum.
Availability to work a minimum of three days per week.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students in the subject.
Positive observation ratings, ideally graded as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.
Willingness to complete necessary compliance checks, including Enhanced DBS and employment references.
