Job Description

I am delighted to be partnering with a dynamic business seeking to recruit a PA to the MD. This is a key role working closely with the Managing Director to provide administrative support and assisting the MD to make the best use of their time by dealing with secretarial, administrative and other tasks.Key responsibilities will include:

  • To understand the organisation’s aims and objectives.
  • To reliably and efficiently handle work in the MD’s absence.
  • To be the MD’s first point of contact and to liaise with clients and internal / external stakeholders.
  • To arrange travel, visas and accommodation and keep records of travel expenses.
  • To screen phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • To meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority.
  • To organise and maintain diaries and making appointments.
  • To dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the MD and electronically filing of e-mails.
  • To maintain spreadsheets and action trackers.
  • To take meeting minutes.
  • To assist in the running of the office and with team support as required.
  • The successful candidate will be an experienced PA with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
