I am looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant in the Brixham area!The successful candidates will provide individual support and supervision for students aged between 2-12, encouraging their engagement in the learning process, helping the class teacher, working towards agreed aims and objectives. You will work 1:1 and in small groups with students as part of a professional team contributing towards meeting the academic, social, behavioural and emotional needs of young people.We are looking for experienced practitioners, with a good general standard of education, who have a genuine desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of young people. High levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm are essential, as well as the ability to inspire, motivate and empathise with young people.This candidate is required to have good experience of working in a school setting.A DBS on the Update Service is desirable.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
