Job Description

LGV Mechanic£33- £35,000 PA plus shift allowanceBrinsworth, RotherhamAre you a skilled LGV Mechanic with a passion for ensuring vehicles run at their best Were seeking a proficient mechanic to join our team and oversee maintenance operations for our fleet of LGV vehicles. If you have City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications in lightvehicle maintenance, a strategic mindset for efficient garage operations, and a minimum of 3 years experience with an LGV Cat C+E license, wed love to hear from you.Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your expertise to manage the effective running of our garage, ensuring maintenance tasks are planned, executed, and recorded systematically.
  • Apply your LGV Cat C+E license experience to perform and oversee maintenance on LGV vehicles.
  • Allocate parts and manage orders through the SAP system, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely replenishment of supplies.
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications in light vehicle maintenance.
  • Minimum 3 years experience holding an LGV Cat C+E license.
  • Proven ability to manage a garage effectively, planning and executing maintenance schedules.
  • Proficiency in utilising SAP or similar systems for parts ordering and record-keeping.
LGV Mechanic details:
  • £33,000 - £35,000 with an additional £2,000 shift allowance.
  • Monday to Friday with one Sunday shift per month (given a day off during the week for this Sunday). Week 1: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm / Week 2: 2:00 pm - 8:30 pm
