Working in a professional, yet friendly, environment, youll be heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the marketing department.The Job...Reporting to the Marketing Manager, youll be tasked with ensuring the day-to-day running of the marketing function runs smoothly, with deadlines always hit. Its a full-time role and office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Youll be responsible for:- Development of ideas, concepts, and marketing strategies to improve both customer acquisition and customer retention.- Creative collaboration and, in the Marketing Managers absence, sign-off of creative projects including artwork, copy etc.- Holistic project management of multiple marketing projects, ensuring the team is working effectively to hit deadlines.- Critiquing and signing-off creative work including graphic design and copywriting- Working proactively with external partners, including a digital agency focused on SEO, PPC, paid display, and paid social strategies.- Day to day management of a team incorporating 2 production leads, 2 designers, 2 copywriters and a marketing assistant.About You...This role will suit you if youre full of energy - naturally a very enthusiastic and motivated person who can remain calm under pressure. Heres some of the key experience you need to demonstrate:- Youll have a strong marketing background, with a heavy bias towards print and traditional media (although youll have a high-level overview of digital and be able to work closely and liaise with an external digital agency).- Youll be used to working with marketing budgets of upwards of £5m per annum.- The ability to come up with plenty of ideas and the ability to communicate your suggestions of ways to improve the marketing function and work output.- Youll be a people person and comfortable with building internal and external relationships - getting the best out of the team and external partners.- Youll love coming into the office to do your work, collaborating every day with your friendly, professional, colleagues in person. That means youll need to be happy travelling to and from the Rotherham office each day.The Company...Theyre a well-established firm in the leisure market, operating a main brand and a sub-brand too.
