Job Description

Work as a key part of a leading insurance business based in Brighton. As an Associate within the Facilities Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the office facilities and building. You will be responsiblefor a wide range of administrative tasks that contribute to the overall functionality of our workplace.Predominantly based in Brighton the office which consists of 15,500 sq. Ft. covering 4 floors.The role is responsible for providing support to ensure facilities services are provided on a consistent basis and minimise risks to BAU.On offer is a strong career progression path, a great company culture, as well as a generous bonus and benefits package.Responsibilities will include:

  • Daily tour of the building including checklist and overall condition of premises, equipment to mitigate any risks to business in terms of soft and hard services
  • Replenishment of stock by monitoring, ordering and upkeep of kitchen, fruit, stationery, mail room, printer and first aid supplies
  • Open and distribute mail, scan, copy and share with relevant depts
  • Assist with onboarding and exiting process for joiners and leavers
  • Interact with and maintain positive vendor relationships relating to facility and real estate services
  • Provide support for new projects, i.e. moves and changes as directed and any other light facilities functions
  • Offsite preparation and coordination to offsite storage to include inventory
  • Assist with the preparation of new and deletion of access cards, ensuring we have ample cards, lanyards, card holders to cope with demand
  • Ensure Fire fighting equipment is intact (check tags, pressure gauges)
