Electrical Installation & Remedial Engineer£ £26,300-£36,200 depending on experience North East Essex and SuffolkºFull-time, Permanent, 42.5 hours p/wAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small, reputable, family run company as an Electrical Installation and Remedial Engineer.Orton and Wenlock offer electrical compliance services to North East Essex and Suffolk for many public and private organisations with particular focus on letting agent needs. Due to our continued success we have vacancies for multi-discipline’ electrical engineers.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Undertake periodic inspections and test to fixed wiring installations, single and three phase, within a working premises.Carry out remedial and smaller installation works.Record findings within an Electrical Installation Minor Works or Condition Report (EICR).Attend call outs as requiredRequired Qualifications, Skills or Experience:You will be fully electrically qualified with proven installation experience and qualifications including the IET Wiring regulations 17th/18th edition.City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent) - RequiredCity & Guilds 18th Edition - RequiredFull clean driving license- RequiredCity & Guilds 2391 or 2395 Inspection & Test - PreferableEnglish / Maths GCSE C or above or equivalent- PreferableJIB Goldcard holder- Preferable but not essentialMinimum 5 years experience- PreferableExperience of using Eworks and EasyCert- Preferable but not essentialYou will be working on various sites across the region within industrial, domestic, or commercial premises, so flexibility is a must.You will be driven to provide excellent customer service and be prepared to go the extra mile.You will be confident with working independently and accessing support and advice when necessary.You will be willing to work additional hours as required.Benefits:Company vanPaid travel timeHoliday payCompany pensioniPadFlexible scheduleCompany uniformAll equipment provided8 hour day Monday-FridayOvertimeOrton and Wenlock are an equal opportunity employer.COVID-19 considerations:We operate COVID 19 risk control systems, provide PPE and Risk and Method Statements together with suitable training.
