Job Description

Reed Business Support are working with a globally established Manufacturing company in the search of a Customer Service Sales Support Officer due to their expanding operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking, fun-loving and busyoffice environment.Benefits:

  • Holidays: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
  • Work: MondayFriday 08:3017:00 (1 hour break)

Reporting to the Customer Operations Manager this role is to provide a consistently high level of customer service at all times, ensuring that customers expectations are exceeded with service and product provision.Key Responsibilities: (list key tasks, responsibilities, deliverables etc.) To enter onto Jeeves, competently and accurately, all customer orders on the day they are received. To input project and complex sales orders onto Jeeves. Check all customers purchase orders to ensure they are in line with HL policy. Review and action promised delivery datescommunicating proactively with the customer. Provide customers with quotations for standard products within 24 hours. To follow up on quotations not converted within one calendar month. To maintain accurately permanent customer files. To answer/respond to customer queries within one hour. Review customer stock agreements. Answer the telephone in a professional and friendly manner at all times. Follow up on installations/projects to ensure everything went as planned. Communicate with HL Factories regarding prices for items not requiring technical clarification. Communicate via Teams and Zoom meetings with Customers. Process sample requests from Account Managers on the same day. Review delivery issues and issue requests for credit notes. Attend bimonthly Key Account Meetings, take minutes and distribute with tasks. Participate in department daily briefs.Skills & Experience: (include generic, specific sector, people management, languages etc.) Excellent telephone manner. Confidence in a customer facing role. A team player, able to work under pressure. Excellent IT skills essential (Microsoft Word, Excel, Email). Analysis skills required. Excellent communication skillsboth verbal and written. Previous Customer Services / Sales experience ideally from Manufacture background. GCSEs in English and Maths.This location has limited Public Access, so a driving license would be preferable for potential candidates.If you believe you would be a good fit for this role, apply below!
