Production Operative / Assembly Operative£25000 + benefitsDudley / Brierley HillElectro-mechanical complex assembly.We are currently seeking a Production Operative. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a manufacturing environment to produce high-quality products.Duties:Always maintain a Safety First approach to your work maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and team inline with company policies and procedures.-Maintain material storage efficiently, tidily & safely stored, segregated to prevent mixing of components and ensuring FIFO at all times.-Report and segregate any defective material and protect from further damage.-Ensure the Buyer is notified of any low material stock or shortages that may delay production of orders.-Carry out pre start machine & PPE checks as required reporting any discrepancies.-Prepare material for further processing that will include:Dress castings, filing, deburring partsPrepare castings, measuring, marking holes, drilling and tapingMasking parts for painting-Pick parts for kits in line with works orders and report any discrepancies.-Produce sub assemblies for machine build or spares orders in line with works orders or kan ban tickets, following build instructions. This may also include testing parts with appropriate jigs.-Preparing wires and wire harnesses to drawings.-Assemble of machines and carrying out initial power up tests.-Pack orders including machines as required.-Report and segregate any defective material and protect from further damage.Please apply with your CV.
