Job Description

About the BusinessAn opportunity to be a Group Commercial Reporting Accountant for an excellent International company in Brierly Hill. The company is multi hundred £m, but this role gives you your own part of the business to drive and mould.Main DutiesAs a Group Commercial Reporting Accountant, your main duties include:

  • Assisting the Finance Director in creating new processes and procedures for the business
  • Reviewing variance reports on capital expenditure and bad debt review
  • Supporting the Finance Director with month-end management
  • Preparing bi-annual budgets and monitoring performance
  • Managing production of tax packs, annual financial reports, and year-end audit deliverables
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support planning and decision-making
Location / Office / CultureThe role is based in Brierley Hill, with three days in the office and two days a week from home. You would work for a fantastic manager, who is brilliant to learn from. She really is great!What We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:
  • An ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar professional accounting qualification
  • A thorough knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • An ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
  • A determination to help shape and drive company projects and processes
