Job Description

Are you a Network Engineer looking for a new role Are you confident in providing Technical Support for Network installations , configuration , upgrades and up maintenance on a range of networksAre you looking for a varied role as a Networks Engineerwhere you will be working on 2nd and 3rd line issues both remotely and as a lead engineer on clients sitesKingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Senior Networks Engineer by a service provider of voice , data and IT solutions .As the perfect candidate you will ideally be CCNA certified and be a skilled Network Engineer with solid knowledge of routers , switches, and ideally some exposure to firewalls and security.Skills Experience

  • Troubleshooting network LAN/WAN problems through to resolution.
  • Troubleshooting Internet WAN Access circuits, specifically ADSL FTTC circuits.
  • Experience with Cisco, HP and DrayTek routers/switches.
  • Experience with networking infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, Firewalls, Wireless)
  • Experience with Cisco, HP and DrayTek routers/switches.
  • Experience with Firewalls & VPN. Fortigate Meraki
  • Managing suppliers for faults and escalating when applicable.
  • Supporting a team of engineers with advice and technical expertise
  • Project Managing a range of Network projects to achieve customer satisfaction
As a Network Engineer you could have worked in an MSP or ISP or you may be working for a organisation with complex networks and high levels of internal users. Core networking skills are essential but latest generation firewall and secuirty skills can bedeveloped.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and expanding communications business in a position playing a key role in the Networks Team .
