Job Description

An established manufacturer of castings and machined parts supplied into off-highway, rail and automotive industries is now seeking a Maintenance Engineer.Salary up to £50k! Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be tasked with implementing new and improving old processes, PPM & TPMs. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will take a hands-on approach to reduce production bottle necks, correct short-term fixes with long-termsolutions and update, replace and fit machinery when required.Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include -

Ensure there is an effective TPM & PPM regime in place in order to minimise downtime.
Effectively record all maintenance activity to support with continuous improvement on site.
Provide support to the maintenance team.
Work closely with the Operations manager to report any problems on site.

We would love to hear from any Maintenance Engineer that -

Have experience implementing and managing TPM & PPM regimes.
Are able to diagnose & repair Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Electrical repairs.
Can read & work from Engineering drawings.
Hold a relevant Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification.
