Job Description

Are you a Design/Project Engineer who would value a 4-day working week as well as hybrid workingIf so, Reed Engineering are recruiting for manufacturing business in Bridgend who would love to talk to you.What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll own all the technical aspects of theprojects ensuring that the technical scope is delivered to time, cost and quality.
  • You’ll define the overall technical programme and ensures that the technical team, from design through to manufacturing delivers.
  • As a Project Engineer you’re involved in the delivery of projects that span from pure R&D through to through-life Post Design Services (PDS) customer support.
What you need:
  • 3 – 5+ years’ experience in engineering design and manufacturing.
  • Be familiar with CAD tools and Autodesk Inventor, SOLIDWORKS or similar package.
  • Experience in a regulated industry, such as defence, medical, automotive or aerospace etc.
  • To be anIncorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).
  • Have knowledge of a variety of engineering design methodologies, including waterfall/V-cycle and agile, iterative approaches.
