Job Description

Manpower are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Manager to provide temporary cover and oversee the efficient management for one of our public sector clients.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control all assets and facilities on a day-to-day basis.
  • Coordinate and inspect maintenance activities for buildings and assets.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations within buildings and at events.
  • Supervise the Facilities & Projects Officer, Outdoor Maintenance Team, and Caretaker/Cleaner directly.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Facilities & Projects Officer.
  • Lead and manage the Outdoor Maintenance Team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee the caretaker/cleaners responsibilities according to operational guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
