Job Description

JHygiene OperativePermanentBurton on TrentMondayFriday£9.23 - £11.23 per hourAre you a Hygiene Operative with experience in fmcg / food manufacturing If so this position could be perfect for you.Responsibilities

  • Ensure all designated areas are cleaned to the required standard, consistent with both company and customer expectations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is of working order and safe to use.
  • Continuously monitor quality and ensure adherence to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
  • Full compliance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs).
  • Escalate and report any defective or damaged equipment/ facility or excessive wear to your line manager in a timely manner.
  • Report any unsafe practices that could lead to an accident or incident.
  • Keeping line areas clean at all times, including the removal of waste.
  • Complete routine deep cleaning schedules including dismantling and reassembling the equipment within allocated timeframes.
  • Completion of cleaning schedule documentation as required in a clear, accurate and legible manner.
  • Ensure effective segregation and correct disposal of waste and recyclable material.
  • Ensure the safe preparation, handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and materials at all times.
  • Encourage and help drive the sites food safety culture, to help prevent deviation in the process that impacts the safety, quality and legality of our products.
