Job Description

Lettings Negotiator- Braintree/KelvedonA great opportunity- this is a brand new role within a well established company.

  • Salary £19,000 OTE £25,000 (uncapped)
  • The role of the Senior Lettings Lister is to build and grow the current lettings portfolio for both offices and establish long lasting relationships with landlords. The role will predominantly be based in Braintree, the successful candidate will also be covering lettings valuations for the Kelvedon office. Key Responsibilities
  • Seek out new instructions via all forms of prospecting including embracing software, social media, direct touting and leafleting
  • Carry out quarterly customer care call to landlords
  • Create and run landlord club to entice landlords to expand lettings portfolio
  • Organise and attend landlord evenings in branch
  • Present offers to let to landlords for consideration and provide guidance as required
  • Negotiate prices/fees and or other terms of business
  • Secure instructions via signed terms of business
  • Create property details via company software in accordance with company guide
  • Book and attend valuations and viewings and feedback to client within company policy timeframe
  • Review and sign off all lets before passing to contracts team
  • Facilitate tenancy sign up, securing all signed documentation and fees received, ensuring compliance with De Reg Act 2015
  • The successful Lettings Lister will need to have at least 1-2 years experience as a lettings negotiator with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Preferably ARLA licensed but not essential
  • Self-starter, who relishes challenges and strives for the best
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Power Point, Word, etc
  • Have an ability to multi-task
  • Be adaptable and a good team player
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • You will be required to attend conventions, seminars, and association meetings to remain knowledgeable and up to date in respect of the market and legislation
  • You will also have an in depth understanding of all lettings legislation.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
