Job Description

Job Title: Lettings AdvisorLocation: BraintreeDepartment: Housing ServicesContract Length: Initially set out for 3 months until April with scope to extend or become permSalary Range: £135 - 155 per dayAbout Us:One of the the largest Community Gateway Association with over 12,000 homes, is dedicated to empowering residents in decision-making for their homes and services and are looking for a Lettings Advisor to join their team.Job Purpose:As a Lettings Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the associations community-centric approach. Facilitate interventions, case management, and liaisons to monitor and develop communities, ensuring positive living experiences for the customers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion the Community Gateway and promote community empowerment strategies.
  • Act as an ambassador, collaborating with customers, colleagues, and agencies for service improvement.
  • Provide excellent lettings services across Development, Home Solutions, Customer Services, and Tenancy Management teams.
  • Liaise with support agencies, acting as a resident advocate when necessary.
  • Let all homes within allocations policy and void property targets.
  • Manage a caseload, offering effective customer support and resolving housing-related issues.
  • Schedule and conduct housing-related activities such as client viewings and property inspections.
  • Administer the Choice Based Lettings scheme, promoting housing options and downsizing assistance.
  • Liaise with residents, professionals, and public inquiries professionally.
  • Develop partnerships with the Local Authority, agencies, and colleagues for exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in partnership engagement with measurable outcomes.
  • Customer engagement and empowerment in home management.
  • Sound understanding of housing procedures and systems.
  • Track record of achieving targets and positive outcomes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of housing issues, regulations, and support systems.
  • Knowledge of Community Gateway and its influence on service delivery.
  • Full clean driving license and access to a car.
