Job Description

Job Title: Lettings AdministratorLocation: BraintreeDepartment: Housing ServicesReports to: Allocations and Lettings ManagerContract Length: set out to be until the 31st of march with possibility to extend or become perm.Salary Range: £110 - 130 per day PAYEAbout Us:A well established and dynamic housing association with over 12,000 homes, committed to community empowerment are looking for a Lettings Administrator.Job Purpose:Join our Allocations and Lettings team to provide efficient technical support, ensuring seamless service delivery. As the Lettings and Mutual Exchange Administrator, you will oversee mutual exchange and allocations administration processes, ensuring performancetargets are met, and customer service remains exceptional.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and promote the community empowerment strategy to our customers.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing timely technical advice.
  • Perform operational tasks, adjusting parameters to meet performance standards.
  • Maintain manual and electronic systems for data accuracy, confidentiality, and security.
  • Prepare moderately complex documents and gather data for reports using Microsoft Office.
  • Ensure timely processing and recording of Mutual Exchange applications.
  • Liaise with teams to meet legal and safety requirements for properties involved in exchanges.
  • Respond to customer correspondence promptly and effectively.
  • Assist vulnerable tenants in obtaining suitable mutual exchanges or allocations.
  • Work closely with various teams, including Tenancy Officers, Customer Service, and Lettings.
  • Complete monthly reports for the Housing Manager on mutual exchanges and lettings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Provide a high standard of customer care and make appropriate safeguarding referrals when needed.
Requirements:
  • Education and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with working with public sector bodies.
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of relevant criteria, requirements, and IT packages.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and issues affecting vulnerable residents.
  • Possession of a full clean driving license and access to a car.
