With ambitiousgrowth plans, we are continually investing in our facilities and our people, with opportunities to develop and build your career with us.Whats in it for youHourly pay rate: starting from £10.00/per hour to £10.71/per hourPaid weeklyGuaranteed hours and opportunities for overtimeEmployee benefits include a competitive pension and access to lifestyle and wellbeing resourcesA safe dynamic working environmentTraining and development opportunities from day onePurpose of the roleAs a Hatchery Operative, working as a part of the Hatchery Team, youll help assist the hatchery and play a key role in the daily duties which are fundamental to our entire business.Key responsibilities will include:Ensuring chicks are sorted into the required grades and quantities, ready for farm deliveryAssisting in the effective movement of eggs from storage to incubating machines and then to hatching machinesCleaning all equipment after use to the required high standardsSafeguarding bio security and following these strict proceduresObserving bird welfare and health and safety on site at all timesWhat we are looking for:Good level of English and basic numeracy skillsThe ability to work well within a team and communicate effectivelyGood attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasksExperience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be providedWorking Hours:Monday - 06:4516:30Tuesday - 06:4516:30Wednesday - 06:4515:30Thursday - 06:4516:30Friday - 06:4516:30We can offer temporary or permanent contract!FTC - 6 MONTHSFTC - 3 MONTHSA little about us:Avara Foods supply chicken and turkey to the nations most popular supermarkets and restaurants.
