My client are planning a major fibre-to-the home build across the East of the country, connecting homes to full fibre infrastructure.My client are looking for an Fibre Supervisor ideally with experience of the fibre network. The successful candidate will have good knowledge and self-motivation to achieve the company goals.You will be working for a company that offer great opportunities to grow within the company, gain new skill sets and work on exciting new projects.Responsibilities include:·Attend site meetings to agree Traffic Management requirements liaising with Highways Authorities. ·Regularly meet contractors to ensure they are meeting requirements ·Attend sites to check Health and Safety as well as NRSWA Streetworks are met. ·Ensure all sub-contractors have the correct qualifications, experience and are working to the correct company standards. ·Ensure site surveys are completed in a timely manner (including risk assessments) ·Ensure all documentation is present on site and ensure the design plans are reviewed on a regular basis. ·Managing all staff including sub-contractors to ensure work is completed at a high standard and to company guidelines. ·Ensure all site staff have the correct materials, PPE, permits and authorisations/qualifications. ·Ensure permits are completed on times to avoid large fines ·Carrying out site meetings with Highway Authority representatives to agree Traffic Management requirements for jobsThe ideal candidate must:·An understanding the fibre network, this would include poling, cable or civils installations on the fibre network - Essential ·NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor accreditation - Desirable ·Good knowledge of the fibre network- Essential ·Able to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders effectively. ·Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.If you are interested, please contact Jack on .
