Job Description

Our Technical team are expanding and seek a skilled CAD Technician, who will provide accurate, compliant and timely AutoCAD utility design drawings.By joining our team, you will be joining an organisation that is leading the way in delivering sustainable infrastructure, as we continue Building Bright Futures.Offered as a permanent role, alongside a competitive salary, you will be offered a range of great benefits that support you through all aspects of your life.CAD Technician Duties:As part of your role, you will work alongside our Design Engineers and Project Coordinators to deliver electric and/or water infrastructure design AutoCAD drawings. You will also:

  • Provide excellent customer service, supporting and advising our internal/external clients regarding drawings;
  • Maintain an accurate database.
CAD Technician Requirements:To be successful within this role you must be proficient with AutoCAD, alongside demonstrable experience in a similar role. You will also have:
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office (i.e. Excel and Outlook);
  • Knowledge of the construction/utilities industry would be desirable, but not essential;
  • A can-do approach, making it happen, with the ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team, finding better ways in completing tasks.
