Job Description

My client, based in Braintree, Essex, has a proven track record of delivering high value technical services to their clients within industry throughout the UK. Their customer base is growing and they now seek another 1st Line / Help Desk Support person tojoin their team.Role:

  • Technical Support of an established and growing client base
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to EPOS systems including hardware and software
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of all systems
  • Collaborate with all members of the IT team and other departments to ensure the EPOS systems are meeting the needs of clients and the organisation in general
  • Provide IT Support / Technical Support to a growing client base via telephone, live chat. email and remote access
  • Communicate with customers effectively, ensuring they are aware of your progress in solving the technical issue
  • Complete technical reports
  • Maintain IT / technical ticketing system
  • Respond to and take ownership of the tickets assigned to you and escalate when required

  • Ability to work in a small team and integrate will into the surrounding business
  • Able to work in a busy technical environment
  • A good communicator
  • A person with experience of using and / or supporting EPOS systems
  • Enthusiasm with a lively can-do-attitude
  • Has a background in IT administration / support
This role may suit an individual who has experience of using EPOS equipment and fancies a change in career to a technical support role. Most importantly, this role requires a person with bags of energy and who has a happy disposition.
