Job Description

We now have a fantastic opportunity for someone experienced in information security sector to join us asour Information Security Officer. This will be an individual who is high energy, driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Based at our Bristol office, this is a permanent opportunity on hybrid working model, where colleagues are office based for two days per week and remainder at home.Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will ultimately ensure appropriate business controls are defined, in place and being continually monitored and improved, to ensure the business minimises security risks and threats to an acceptablelevel.What Youll DoOther responsibilities for this this role include;

  • Being responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) in support of our ISO27001 certification.
  • Working closely with key cross-functional stakeholders to support risk identification and management processes across all aspects of Information Security.
  • Maintaining an accurate InfoSec risk register for the business, ensuring effective treatments are in place for risks and communicating an accurate picture of the risk profile to the exec and board as required.
  • Be the main point-of-contact for external auditors and accreditation bodies to deal with audit planning and resultant actions.
  • Reviewing and updating Information Security policies and standards as required.
What Youll NeedTo be considered for this key role you will need the following;
  • Considerable experience of delivering and manging ISO27001 certification (or other similar standards)
  • A good understanding of security risk and controls for IT software, infrastructure and cloud services.
  • You will exposure to supporting the running of an effective Incident Management process.
  • Experience in carrying out audits.
  • Examples of actioning any non-compliances or making improvements with people, process and technology-based controls.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • The ability to influence and interact with people at all levels in a diplomatic and persuasive manner.
