You will have the opportunity to use your experience in migrations and expertise within your technology area to really make a difference and get the group businesses to a commonset of infrastructure services that will drive the business story over the next 3 to 5 years.You’ll have migration experience in your kit bag and expertise in designing scalable, secure and resilient platform services in multiple infrastructure disciplines. If this sounds like the next step you’vebeen looking for, we’d love to hear from you.What will you doAs the Technical Architect your primary focus is the technical designs of our common infrastructure platforms, ensuring the technology employed in the designs delivers the agreed service and performance. This includes security, scalability, and availability,all of which are integral to all platform designs.You will technically lead assigned projects and provide infrastructure designs for business solutions delivered through change services, including developing and maintaining an infrastructure roadmap for all infrastructure components, and embracing technologydevelopment where appropriate to ensure a robust, scalable, and innovative technical architecture.As part of the technology team, you will provide subject matter expertise in several areas, with a focus on Microsoft Office365 and Active Directory in private and public clouds with associated tool sets and security best practices.What’s in it for youSalary- Up to £75,000 per annum, reflecting your experience and specialist knowledge.Annual leave- 24 days, rising to 26 with length of service. • 5 years+ demonstrable experience of working in an architecture and design function for a large and complex business group including the management of a reference architecture components.
• Knowledge of Microsoft O365, Active Directory Federated Services, Azure AD Connect.
• Demonstratable experience of designing and leading migrations to Office365 with a key focus on Microsoft collaboration (Email/Skype/Teams) and security components (Azure MFA, SSPR, Hello for Business).
• Demonstrable experience in designing scalable, secure, and operationally supportable infrastructure service platforms comprising hosting platforms, backup services, storage platforms, identity platforms, and security platforms.
• Demonstrable experience in designing and leading migrations of Line of Business applications and services from on-premise to on-premise or on-premise to cloud.
