Job Title: Support EngineerLocation: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (occasional home working available)Salary: up to £22,875 depending on experience + bonus + benefitsJob Type: Permanent, Full time: 37.5 hours per weekOverview of the RoleThe purpose of the role is to provide ongoing support to the engineering department with a range of administrative duties, taking calls, managing the engineering inboxes, producing reports, and sending estimates to Insurers. Pro-active approach, self-motivated,ability to manage your own workload and excellent communication & IT skills are essential in this role. Previous Audatex experience would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided. For the right candidate there will be an opportunityto further progress career within an engineering team, including obtaining AQP qualifications and more.Role Purpose/ Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo ensure that all customers reporting an incident receive the very highest standards of customer service and the engineering team is supported at all times:Provide an excellent customer experience when dealing with the engineering function.Liaise with department heads and team leaders, to help resolve engineering queries.Understand and look to improve department processes by reviewing, map and streamlining where possible.Understand the effect of own activity on other areas of the business and take action to maximise efficiency and return, supporting other business areas when required.Allocate engineering tasks out to the team within the agreed SLA that we receive via email or phone calls.Efficient planning and prioritisation of time to ensure accurate and speedy completion of tasksProvide support and guidance to colleaguessharing ideas and best practice in order to deliver the very highest levels of customer service and to ensure speedy and effective resolution of incidentsPlay an active role in team meetings/briefings.Actively look for continuous improvements to own performance and the performance of the team.Report on performance of supply network and insurers, including any issues, concerns or opportunities that could have an impact on the business.About youHighly conscientious and self-motivated individual, with an eye for detail and proven problem solving skills.An outstanding communicator, with strong listening and negotiation skills and the ability to challenge information to get the best result for our customer.A strong team player, you will strive to ensure the achievement of personal goals as well as providing support to colleagues.Excellent telephone manners and IT skills are essential to this roleWhats in it for you Competitive basic salary up to £22,875 Bonus based on performance, paid quarterly 25 days annual leave, increasing with service to 28 + bank holidays 2 x salary death-in-service benefit Company mobile phone and laptop provided Pension5% employee, 3% employer SAYE scheme (enabling you to buy discounted shares via a savings scheme) Opportunities to developtraining actively encouraged Free on-site parking Free tea & coffee, on-site caf Great modern officeIf you are interested in this fantastic opportunity, and hold the relevant skills, please apply today for an immediate consideration.
