Job Description

I am working with an established organisation who are in search of a Contracts Surveyor based in the Trowbridge area. There is a big focus on Contracts Management so experience in this area is essential, as well as a good understanding of repairs and maintenance. As well as the lucrative package below, you will be supported with completingqualifications, provided with progression opportunities and there is a competitive Pension Scheme available up to 13%.The salary for this Contracts Surveyor role is £45,000 - £47,000.Responsibilities of the Contracts Surveyor role:

  • Managing contractors input and output in completing works and projects
  • Carry out pre-contract duties including project review, financial requirements and procurement activities Assessing the accuracy of invoices submitted by contractors to maximise cost efficiency
  • Review and report on contractual and legal documentation, reports and structural specifications
  • Be clear and honest with communication between customers and employ tact and diplomacy
  • Taking on procurement activities for new and existing contracts
Skills needed in the Contracts Surveyor role:
  • Overseeing the procurement and management of major works from inception to completion
  • Solid understanding and experience of Contract Management
  • Work experience of maintenance management or construction management
  • Experience in repairs and maintenance is essential
  • Ability to plan ahead, organise and manage other workloads to achieve results
  • Good reporting skills to track targets and compare data for key performance indications
