Job Description

Class Recruitment are looking for a qualified early years/ after-school practitioner for a beautiful rural nursery and after school setting in Bradford-on-Avon.About the role:They are currently recruiting for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to work Monday to Thursday 12-6 within the nursery and the after-school club.From 12-3 you would be working within the nursery setting and from 3-6 you would be working in the after-school club, with children aged 0-11.Although you would not have any key children at either setting, you would be required to do some planning of activities for the afterschool setting, following the childrens interests as all planning is to be child led.This role would be 26 hours a week but there could be more hours available should the nursery need extra cover at busy times.About you:You will need to have at least a Level 3 in Early Years and experience of working withing a nursery or after school setting. If you have a level 2 and are willing to work towards your level 3 do apply this could be consideredAs a nature inspired nursery with a forest school ethos, you will need to enjoy the outdoors and be happy to stick on some waterproofs if it is a wet and wild day.You will need to be proactive and confident in leading groups of children in play and activities as on quieter days you would be lone working.Benefits:

  • £17-22K (pro rata) annual salary depending on experience and qualifications.
