Product Manager (SAAS) - £60k - £65k DOE + BenefitsWe are seeking to engage a Product Manager to drive and support and drive an innovative new business proposition being developed within an existing business.The product is a B2B2C offering and will be developed by a small team of 4 plus developers. This role is key in terms of mapping and being the visionary behind the projectand will be integral to the growth of the organisation.This position would be suitable for either an experienced Product Manager, Applications Product Manager, a Software Developer or someone who has been leading Product Development. It would suit someone who is excited by new technology, has a strong softwarebackground and who has created large scale SaaS platforms or similar.This is a role that can be worked from home however candidates need to be available for regular meetings in Bracknell as required.Details about the role:

• Responsible for engagement with product team and set direction for software development and platforms
• Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements.
• Accountable for the designs of the hub/platforms and integration plan with other platforms in the ecosystem
• Will work with external clients to understand requirements and provide help to presales function
• Able to recommend best practices for building secure and reliable applications on SaaS
• Experience with application build automation processes, and tools with Continuous integration (CI) and Continuous delivery (CD) capabilities
• Gather and organise product feedback and feature requests from clients to help advance product and roadmap
• Provide relevant support to internal teams and stakeholders
• Work closely with Security and Product teams
• Provide internal and client training on how to use the product.
• Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
• Assess and address technical risks.
• Driving continuous improvement and automation
• Serve as a subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
• Coordinate beta tests.
• Use database queries to analyse performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
• Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
• Communicate the product and data architecture to other groups and ensure the adherence and the value-added of enterprise methodologies and standards
• Define and promote software and data security standards aligned with security policy.

Experience we are looking for:

• Experience of any SaaS platforms used by a high volume of subscribers/customers.
• Hands-on experience designing cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems on SaaS
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Awareness and understanding of data security and privacy.
• Understanding or routing principles, infrastructure, cloud and databases.
• Ability to present to a mix of technical and non-technical audiences/ public sector audiences
• Ability to simplify technology concepts and explain them to non-technical audiences / public sector audiences
• Be self-driven and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or messy data.
• An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• Experience in a client engagement capacity (highly desirable)
• Ability to support business case justification using business scenario modelling and perform benefits analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Basic Qualifications required for this role:

• Bachelors degree / Masters in Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, related Software Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+years experience in cloud solutions
• Good knowledge of any of the following: Python, Java, SQL
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, Gitlab, Bitbucket)
