Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Analyst (profit) to join a Global, multibillion pound manufacturer on a permanent basis based in the European Head Office in Bracknell.As the Finance Analyst you will have a focus on profit and be responsible for managing the quality and reporting of consolidated profit for the European Region, and to champion the continuous improvement of data management. This role will also support and deputise the Business Department Manager and provide expert advice on profit matters.Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the running and analysis of the budget event each month to complete month end process and reporting.
  • Working with the data providers, ensuring robust procedures are in place and data for month end close and for budgets is following Global HQ.
  • Propose and implement KPI reporting to assist with efficient data quality checks.
  • Business partner with factory and Business Administration colleagues in order to understand profitability by model and challenge data quality issues
  • Manage issue resolution throughout the month end process and budget process.
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent management reporting to assist Automobile (AM) operations
  • Manage appropriate input into internal systems and usage of Factory profit data (FGP) for budget and actual management information to Sales entities
  • Provide insight and analysis for key movements between budget events to be presented to senior stakeholders as well as branch colleagues where appropriate
  • Provide commentary for non-sales entity profit variances for the MOR (Monthly Operating Reviews)
  • Provide key management support to AM Division for Budget Event and Actuals for Non Sales Entities
  • Support Coordinators with budget planning with Cost Centre Managers, internal stakeholder reviews and preparing slide deck for Senior Vice President Hearings.
    • Qualifications, skills and experience required:
  • Professional accountancy qualification - ACCA/CIMA.
  • Experience within a financial analyst role.
  • Understanding of multiple entity/ multiple currency environment is highly desirable.
  • High level of PC literacy - knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Hyperion essential.
  • Proven experience of continuous improvement
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders
