Job Description

CNC Miller

  • Monday to Friday - Days
  • 45 hours per week
  • £47-50k
Our client, a prestigious UK Manufacturing business specialising in the design, development, test and manufacturing of variety military equipment. Working out of a modern factory close to Bracknell the successful CNC Miller will be confident and experiencedin producing low volume high value parts. Ideally you would be skilled in Fanuc programming and if you have some CADCAM experience that would be advantageous (training will be provided on the businesses specific CAM software).ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experienced CNC Miller (Multi Axis)
  • Ability to work well within a team, and as an individual.
  • Full understanding of complex mechanical engineering drawings.
  • 4th Axis milling experience desirable.
  • Experience of FEATURECAM or POWERMILL software desirable.
  • Experience of Fanuc Control desirable.
  • Fixture manufacturing experience desirable.
  • A methodical approach to tasks
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Working in a highly skilled clean CNC machining workshop on complex and high value components for aircraft and military equipment.
  • Programming, setting, and operating vertical and horizontal milling machines with FANUC controls producing single to low volume batches.
