Job Description

THE ROLEIm delighted to be partnering with this great Charity based in County Durham in their search for an IT Deployment Engineer. As a not-for-profit organisation they work to provide essential services to people everyday, changing lives and making a positive impact. Year on year they have secured new contracts and continue to expand their services.

  • Salary: £23,500 - £25,000 based on experience.
  • Location:Bowburn, County Durham
  • Flexible working:No. You will be required onsite for this role. However, you will work across different locations. Approx. 60% in Bowburn Head Office 40% Across other sites
  • Working Hours:37 hours per week, MondayFriday
  • Holidays:27 days (increases to 32 after 1 year) plus bank holidays
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIESAs the deployment engineer you will be based on site in County Durham where you will be responsible for deploying and decommissioning equipment. This role will involve travel to other sites in the UK and there is a company van available for use. The work isvaried, no week will be the same and you will get the chance to work on different projects and expand your skillset
  • Responsible for the procurement, build, configuration, and deployment of laptops/desktops at all Humankind locations, ensuring all support queries are resolved and replaced equipment decommissioned.
  • Perform regular site visits and audits identifying devices suitable for replacement, making recommendations to local management on methods to reduce the total allocation of devices deployed.
  • To be Humankinds end user advocate, providing high levels of consistent customer service across the organisation.
  • Lead on device requirements for all mobilisations.

  • Tier 1 technical support with a good knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.

This organisation are UK wide and growing.
