Job Description

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a charitable organisation on their appointment of an interim Head of Financial Control and Operations. The role will be for an initial 12 month FTC. The client is looking for a strong finance lead to hit the groundrunning and help with the strategic and financial direction of the group.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sound financial advice to Directors and other senior Managers; acting as interface between management and staff on financial matters
  • Ensure that the Lead Director of Finance is kept appraised of all financial developments, potential risks and changes.
  • Bring a financial and commercial strength and expertise to Humankind by contributing to the strategic direction of the organisation that ensures long term financial viability and advising on financial implications of any proposed actions.
  • Consolidate and evaluate the groups, financial statements, preparing internal reports for key stakeholders and trustees.
Specifications:
  • Formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs
  • Ability to analyse and report on complex financial information to none finance professionals in writing and verbally
  • Experience of operating at an organisation wide strategic level
  • Experience of producing and analysing management and statutory accounts
