Job Description

If you enjoy leading a team that creates a well-presented and safe environment, then the Maintenance Lead might be for you.Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all estates and facilities operations at Barnet Lane Clinic. This will include, catering, maintenance, and housekeepers and any associated facility managementprovided services.As you lead the maintenance team, you will manage, oversee and undertake a variety of maintenance duties, which will see you identify, replace and repair damages, faults and other related issues, with a strong focus on ensuring all service user-related tasksare completed.You will liaise with local contractors on-site as you provide local knowledge and guidance to support planned and preventative maintenance schedules. You will be required to monitor contracts and manage any variances directly with contractors.Other responsibilities:

  • Liaise with RFM regards the Capital budget for Barnett Lane Clinic, ensuring planned Capex projects are delivered on budget and to time and quality constraints.
  • To assist with inspections from regulatory bodies such as HSE, Local Authority and Fire service where required.
  • Advise HD/site managers on equipment breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues, assist in expediting the most effective solution
  • Appraise works required and liaise with contractors to obtain quotes.
  • To assist in maintaining and providing updates in relation to works required as per the database for fire risk assessments & Water risk assessments for site.
  • To liaise with the RFM re all inspections/failed M&E & SUI recommendations.
  • Provide a property and technical support to the Service, providing expertise advice and appropriate course of action.
To be successful as a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll need:
  • City and Guilds, and/or ONC/HND in the relevant technical qualification
  • Full and clean driving licence
  • ISOH/NEBOSH Health and Safety
  • Supervisory and training skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance and management experience
