Job Description

Are you a student looking for a flexible part-time placement opportunity in IT Training, where you can use your skills to create engaging internal training videos If so, this might be the perfect role for you.Working 22 hours per week, this is a 3-month paid opportunity where you can build up your portfolio and gain valuable experience working with an IT Training team and the wider IT department. There is potential for the placement to be extended beyond theinitial 3 months.Under the direction and supervision of the IT Training Manager, you will be required to create work to support and promote the use of Elysium Healthcare applications by creating a range of engaging videos. You will use your creative flare within pre-definedguidelines to create a range of videos that will be published across Elysium Healthcare digital platforms. This will include editing of existing videos and the creation of new ones.The role will include:

  • Consulting with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) around the business
  • Liaising with the service desk regarding frequently raised issues or questions
  • Liaising with project teams to identify key issues and messages
  • Work will be given on a when required basis
  • You will normally be able to choose when you complete the work, provided you meet the relevant, agreed deadlines
This role reports to the National IT Training Manager as part of the IT Training Team. This team is part of the larger IT department of Elysium Healthcare.To be successful you will need:
  • Creating and editing experienceapplicants are encouraged to submit an example of a how to video they have created (this could be as part of your course or otherwise)
  • Products used currently are Camtasia Studio and Captivate
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Experience with storyboards and planning of recording
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience working within style guidelines
