Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building effective working relationshipsOur client, a Specialist Insurance Brokers, is seeking a results-driven Commercial Account Handler to join their dynamic team. With a focus on managing and enhancing client relationships, youll play a crucial role in contributing to the achievement of financialtargets.Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing mid-term adjustments
  • Conducting pre-renewal visits and securing the best terms available
  • Providing quotations and securing new business
  • Cross-selling other insurance products
  • Actively contacting prospective clients to offer Professional Indemnity insurance and additional policy extensions
  • Identifying and promoting additional cover benefits (e.g., Cyber, Public Liability)
  • Developing cross-selling opportunities within various departments
  • Ensuring compliance with service standards and FCA regulations
  • Assisting with the preparation of external events and exhibitions
Key Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in a Commercial Insurance environment
  • Knowledge of Professional Indemnity Insurance (General SME experience considered)
  • Proven sales-focused approach with a commitment to excellent customer service
  • Cert CII or significant progress towards the qualification is advantageous
  • Strong written and spoken English, along with excellent numerical skills
  • Good organizational skills, adaptability to change, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Sound IT skills, particularly MS Office products
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures
