Job Description

Role: Head of TelesalesSalary: £75,000 - £80,000 plus bonusLocation: Borehamwood100% office roleExciting new role as a Head of Telesales for a leading car finance company. You will be Building and optimizing the operational side of the sales team as they are scaling from 20 agents to 100+ agents across multiple teams; - Defining the sales department visionand strategy for achieving operational excellence;Duties and responsibilities:

  • Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans, and profit targets
  • Development of training programs, full onboarding of new hires, continuous development of existing team
  • Ensuring the team collectively hits its target objectives
  • Ensuring the sub-teams collectively hits its target objectives
  • Ensuring agents individually hit target objectives
  • Leads and pipeline management
  • Calls and customer funnel management
  • Conversion metrics management
  • Call stats and metrics management
  • Participation in CRM development
  • Compliance monitoring, coaching, training of managers and agents
  • Onboarding and recruitment of sales agents and new managers
  • Making sure all 1:1s, PDPs, PIPs are done in a timely manner
  • Developing a sales guide / handbook
  • Delivering a monthly sales board reports to the CEO
  • Communicate all company updates and process changes to the team making sure any relevant changes are actioned
  • Responsible for creating an environment in which agents want to work and one where they feel valued
  • Sales team housekeeping, work attire, professional standards, clean desks, etc
  • Where necessary, actioning disciplinary measures such as deducting commission, verbal warning, written warning and dismissal process
  • Arranging rotas to ensure adequate staff for pipeline of leads, service levels & overall sales conversions
  • Signing off holidays and day off requests based upon the business needs in converting pipeline of leads and service levels - Maintaining contact with lenders
  • Creating sales teams ethos and responsible for maintaining high standards.
  • Working with Operations team around compliance, complaints, aftersales care, payouts, signing off deals, finance, etc to maintain smooth payouts and sales process
  • Overseeing sales recruitment and training
  • Maintaining ongoing regulatory training (with compliance officer) and making sure that sales team receives relevant training at all times.
  • The role is very challenging and you will have an opportunity to build and implement different policies and processes in the company
About you
  • Relevant experience supporting complex enterprise sales and operations processes with short, fast paced sales cycles;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of all revenue operations related processes;
  • You are a leader, with the ability to motivate individuals and cultivate high performing teams;
  • You’re striving for operational excellence! (three exclamation marks is to emphasize how important this is);
  • Sales Operations experience within a tech or finance company is an asset;
  • You have a strong track record of achievement and you’ve demonstrated a over achievement on KPI’s;
  • You have exemplary problem-solving abilities and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity;
  • You don’t listen and don’t accept excuses, neither you give ones; - You care about the results
