The School requires a Head of HockeySalary: £35,000pa-£42,000paAll-year round role; 40 days’ holiday (including bank holidays)Generous School fee remissionLunch without charge in term timeNew Hall Sport Club Membership (£20pa)A well-qualified, outstanding hockey coach is required to take the leading role in the continued development of girls’ and boys’ hockey as one of the School’s major sports. The successful candidate will have experience of the England Hockey Player Pathwayand may have coached and/or played to a high standard at Premier or National League level. A coaching qualification in a second sport is desirable, ideally athletics, netball, tennis and/or cricket. The Head of Hockey will be expected to contribute to thewider co-curricular and boarding life of the School. The role includes Saturday fixtures during term time, as well as pre-season training and UK/international tours. During School holidays, the Head of Hockey will work with children attending sport camps andsummer camps at New Hall.New Hall is a warm, welcoming and supportive environment.
