The School requires a Head of HockeySalary: £34,019pa-£40,202pa40 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)Generous School fee remissionAll-year round roleA well-qualified, outstanding hockey coach is required to take the leading role in the continued development of girls and boys hockey as one of the Schools major sports. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of the England Hockey PlayerPathway and they will have coached and/or played to a high standard at Premier or National League level. They will be able to coach a second sport, ideally athletics, netball, tennis and/or cricket. The Head of Hockey will be expected to contribute fully tothe wider co-curricular and boarding life of the School. The role includes Saturday fixtures during term time, as well as pre-season training and UK/international tours. During School holidays, the Head of Hockey will work with children attending sport camps.There is no requirement to teach academic PE.New Hall is a warm, welcoming and supportive environment, with a mixture of single-sex and co-educational teaching.
