Are you looking for a nursing role that gives you the chance to be fully supported to learn, develop and thrive in your career while giving the best patient care Then this role could be the one for you!Ward 10 is looking to recruit Band 5 Staff Nurses to join an enthusiastic team committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. This is a 25 bedded mixed sex ward, caring for a range of patients with gastroenterology needs based on our University Hospital Birmingham (Heartlands site).Gastroenterology experience is desirable for this post; however an interest in this speciality is essential. Full in house training will be given form ward staff and speciality nurses who deliver training on the ward weekly. A full preceptorship program is also on offer for support guidance and development.Our Commitment to YouBecoming a part of this team will allow you the chance to gain a variety of transferable skills such as complex antibiotic and detox drug regimens, caring for both acute and chronic health conditions including longstanding liver and bowel conditions, pre and post endoscopy care for elective and emergency admissions. You will be welcomed by a dynamic, enthusiastic team where development is a priority and who are keen to see their people succeed and enjoy their roles.
